According to foreign media reports, Tesla CEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk) recently said in an interview with the media that other automakers have not yet produced an electric car comparable to the Model S, so the model will get the car magazine Motor Trend "Model of the year."

In an interview with Motor Trend, Musk said, "I thought the auto industry would have been able to compete with the Model S a long time ago." "The auto industry was pretty slow, and it wasn't until 2015, maybe 2014, that the industry started taking electric vehicles seriously," Musk said. Musk believes the industry didn't realize the importance of electric vehicles until the Model S started gaining market share.

"A lot of other car executives still don't believe in electric cars," Musk said. Musk has invited executives from other companies to test drive the car to see if the Model S is, as some have claimed, "the impossible vehicle."

Getting the Model S into mass production has proven difficult, but not impossible. And the car remains competitive today because "it is not a car designed by a soulless corporation."

Musk said: "After everything, we want to make a car that we love, that goes straight to the heart." They make cars that have no soul, no heart, and they wonder why no one buys them. Why do consumers buy it?"

Musk takes great pride in what he and his team have accomplished, something that only an outsider to the auto industry could have come up with. For example, "Our basic philosophy is that this is a computer on wheels. "If you want a laptop on wheels, you need a big screen, touch interface, and OTA updates."

As for offering computer games in the car, Musk's thinking was equally simple: "How do you make a car as fun as possible?" We don't make our own games, these games already exist. Then we thought, 'It would be fun to have some games in the car.' 'You get in the car for whatever reason, you can play in the car."
